Political SOBE

On Friday, a massive political SOBE tapped into the expertise of CASA students and alums. A US military satellite was locked on to the space station, counting down the time until it would obliterate the station. While this military satellite was locked on to the station, a Russian satellite was emitting extremely high levels of radiation. Whenever it came near the station, the astronauts were exposed to these lethal amounts of the radiation.
Meanwhile, down on earth, mission control was the sight of a political debate between multiple parties, with varying degrees of clout. A man from the US military had been standing in mission control since the beginning of the satellite confusion, all the while claiming the supposed satellite that was locked on the station didn't exist. Mission control was debating amongst themselves about what to do to solve the dilemmas. They wanted to shoot down the Russian satellite to prevent the deaths of the crew on the station. Two women from the European Alliance claimed that if the Russian satellite was destroyed it would rain debris onto their country. A representative from Russia threatened another world war if the United States were to shoot down their satellite. The parties involved got into a heated quarrel on CASA Live in the middle of the interview as to what the fate of the satellites should be. Meanwhile, the astronauts on the station were coming closer to their doom as the US satellite's countdown was running out. Ultimately, when the US satellite countdown reached zero, instead of shooting down the international space station with the crew on board, it annihilated the Russian satellite, suprising both crew and mission control.
